Jochen WalterAmbassador

Jochen has been active in the social sector since 1993, including more than 20 years as executive director of the Pfennigparade Foundation, a major provider of integration services for people with disabilities in Munich. Now “retired,” he serves on the supervisory boards and executive boards of various nonprofit organizations and associations. He has been sailing in various boat classes since childhood; formerly a regatta sailor and member of the national youth team, he is now an active cruising sailor. Over 10 years ago, Jochen launched a sailing project for people with disabilities on Lake Ammersee, which he continues to actively support. Drawing on his many years of experience, he serves as an ambassador for our foundation, helping to bring together social service providers and sailing clubs to jointly promote the sport of sailing for people with disabilities of all kinds.
